So if you have a list of 1000 employees and the same document needs to be sent to all of them, then the only thing that needs to be changing is the name and address. For this, you can create\u00a0 a single document and then use mail merge to generated the rest, each having a different address based on data in excel sheet.<br \/>\nLet&#8217;s demonstrate it, so you can follow the steps below<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 1<\/b>: Create and excel file with list of names and addresses as shown below:<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-g5uTGmRUekc\/WhyqrAE5oEI\/AAAAAAAAAP4\/VOrffNiEhTwFjKBuhhA4oqNKupfCS0WCACLcBGAs\/s1600\/Mail-Merge-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-g5uTGmRUekc\/WhyqrAE5oEI\/AAAAAAAAAP4\/VOrffNiEhTwFjKBuhhA4oqNKupfCS0WCACLcBGAs\/s640\/Mail-Merge-1.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"443\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"714\" data-original-width=\"1028\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<p><b>Step 2:<\/b> Save the File in the Documents Folder. So we are going to replace this fields using the name and addressed in the excel sheet. Browse to select the Excel file you created in Step 1. After you select it, click on Open. The dialog box closes<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">Now you need to insert data from the excel file into your document.<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><b>Step 10<\/b>: Delete the &lt;Name&gt; placeholder following the word Dear. Place your cursor in that position.<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><b>Step 11<\/b>: In the ribbon, still on the Mailing tab, click on &#8220;Insert Merge Field&#8221; and choose Name. You can see that &lt;&lt;Name&gt;&gt; appears in the position of Name<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">Let&#8217;s now preview the document to see what we have achieved.<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><b>Step 12:<\/b> Click on &#8220;Preview Results&#8221; as shown in the picture and observe the result. You will notice that the placeholder is replaced by actual name.
